General Terms and Conditions and Customer Information
I. General Terms and Conditions
§ 1 Basic Provisions
-
The following terms and conditions apply to all contracts concluded with us as the provider (Sessorium-Commerce GbR) via the website https://engel-kette.de. Unless otherwise agreed, the inclusion of any of your own terms and conditions is hereby rejected.
-
A consumer within the meaning of the following regulations is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that predominantly cannot be attributed to their commercial or self-employed professional activity. An entrepreneur is any natural or legal person or a legally capable partnership that, when concluding a legal transaction, acts in the exercise of its commercial or independent professional activity.
§ 2 Conclusion of the Contract
-
The subject of the contract is the sale of goods.
-
By placing the respective product on our website, we provide you with a binding offer to conclude a contract under the conditions stated in the product description via the online shopping cart system.
-
The contract is concluded via the online shopping cart system as follows:
The goods intended for purchase are placed in the “shopping cart.” You can access and modify the shopping cart at any time using the corresponding button in the navigation bar.
After clicking the “Checkout” or “Proceed to Order” button (or similarly named button) and entering your personal data, payment and shipping details, the order data will be displayed once again as an order overview.
If you use an instant payment system (e.g., PayPal (Express/Plus/Checkout), Amazon Pay, Sofort, giropay), you will either be redirected to the order overview page in our online shop or to the website of the respective payment provider.
After entering your data on the website of the instant payment provider, you will either be redirected back to our shop or shown a final order overview on the provider’s page.
Before submitting the order, you may review, modify (including via the “back” function of the browser), or cancel the order.
By submitting the order via the corresponding button (“place binding order,” “buy now,” “order with obligation to pay,” “pay now,” or similar wording), you declare acceptance of the offer, thereby concluding the contract.
-
Order processing and transmission of all information necessary for the contract will take place via automated email. You must ensure that the email address you provide is correct and that the receipt of emails is technically ensured, especially not blocked by SPAM filters.
§ 3 Custom-Made Products
-
You shall provide us with all information, text, or files required for the customization of the goods via the online order system or by email immediately after conclusion of the contract. Please adhere to any format requirements we provide.
-
You agree not to transmit any content that infringes the rights of third parties (in particular copyright, name rights, trademark rights) or violates applicable law. You expressly indemnify us from all claims asserted by third parties in this context, including the costs of necessary legal representation.
-
We do not review the transmitted data for accuracy and accept no liability for errors resulting from such data.

§ 6 Warranty
-
The statutory warranty rights apply.
-
Consumers are requested to check the goods immediately upon delivery for completeness, obvious defects, and transport damage, and to notify us and the carrier of any issues as soon as possible. Failure to do so does not affect statutory warranty rights.
-
Any deviation of product characteristics from objective requirements is deemed agreed only if you were informed before contract conclusion and the deviation was explicitly agreed upon separately.
